Pecten randolphi was named by Dall (1897). It is extant.
It was recombined as Pecten (Pseudamusium) randolphi by Arnold (1906); it was synonymized subjectively with Pecten (Pseudamussium) pedroanus by Grant and IV and Gale (1931); it was recombined as Cyclopecten (Delectopecten) randolphi by Faustman (1964); it was recombined as Delectopecten randolphi by Moore (1984).
