Euagassiceras sauzeanum
Taxonomy
Ammonites sauzeanus was named by d'Orbigny (1844). It is not extant. Its type specimen is MCZ-224. Its type locality is Semur en Auxois, which is in a Sinemurian marine limestone in France. It is the type species of Euagassiceras.
It was recombined as Euagassiceras sauzeanum by Spath (1924).
