Neritina (Dostia) cuneata
Taxonomy
Nerita cuneata was named by Gabb (1864). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is "Chico beds" - Tuscan Springs, Tehama, which is in a Coniacian coastal siliciclastic in California.
It was recombined as Velates cuneatus by Stewart (1927); it was recombined as Neritina (Dostia) cuneata by Cushing Woods and Saul (1986).
