Micromenodon pitti
Taxonomy
Micromenodon pitti was named by Sues and Schoch (2021). Its type specimen is USNM PAL 770096, a maxilla (a nearly complete right maxilla with six teeth), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM locality 39981, which is in a Tuvalian lacustrine - small mudstone in the Vinita Formation of Virginia.
