Taxonomy
Chonetinella granti was named by Waterhouse (1981). Its type specimen is USNM 212012 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM9269, Block 1, Khao Chang Hill, Rat Buri, which is in a Roadian offshore shelf limestone in the Rat Buri Formation of Thailand.
