Bathygenys alpha hedlundae
Taxonomy
Bathygenys alpha hedlundae was named by Schultz and Falkenbach (1968) [named as a subspecies of B. alpha by Schultz and Falkenbach 1968; raised to species level by Lander 1998]. Its type specimen is F:AM 72377, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Bathygenys hedlundae by Lander (1998), Stevens et al. (2023).
