It was recombined as Tricentes truncatus by Van Valen and Sloan (1965), Schiebout (1974); it was synonymized subjectively with Chriacus baldwini by Van Valen (1978), Tsentas (1981), Williamson and Lucas (1993), Williamson (1996).
