Taxonomy
Parvodus celsucuspus was named by Rees et al. (2013). Its type specimen is CHVm03.634, a tooth (anterior tooth), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cherves-de-Cognac, levels 32–37, which is in a Berriasian/Berriasian lacustrine deltaic horizon in France.
