Equisetum rajmahalense
Taxonomy
Equisetites rajmahalensis was named by Oldham and Morris (1863). It is not extant. Its type locality is Belatikur, Rajmahal Hills, which is in a Jurassic fluvial-lacustrine horizon in India.
It was recombined as Equisetum rajmahalense by Schimper (1869) and Lakhanpal et al. (1976); it was recombined as Equisetum rajmahalensis by Chandra and Tewari (1991).
