Eumys eliensis
Taxonomy
Eumys eliensis was named by Black (1961). Its type specimen is YPM 14022, a mandible (left ramus with i, m1-m3, lacking the ascending ramus and inferior bordere), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fort Logan, which is in an Arikareean terrestrial horizon in Montana.
It was synonymized subjectively with Eumys brachyodus by Martin (1980).
