Brauccipycnodus pillae

Taxonomy
Proscinetes pillae was named by Capasso (2007). Its type specimen is CLC I-125, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pietraroja (Capasso collection), which is in an Albian basinal (carbonate) mudstone/wackestone in Italy. It is the type species of Brauccipycnodus.

It was recombined as Brauccipycnodus pillae by Taverne and Capasso (2021).
