Janavis finalidens
Taxonomy
Janavis finalidens was named by Benito et al. (2022). Its type specimen is NHMM RD 271, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CBR-Romontbos Quarry (Base of Valkenburg Mbr.), which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate grainstone in the Maastricht Formation of Belgium. It is the type species of Janavis.
