Taxonomy
Asteroceras dommerguesi was named by Zaitsev (2023). Its type specimen is Moscow State University 150/35, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Greek Quarry, Beds with Asteroceras dommerguesi and Arnioceras rejectum, which is in an Obtusum carbonate limestone in Ukraine.
