It was recombined as Calycoceras boehmi by Wright and Wright (1951); it was synonymized subjectively with Calycoceras (Calycoceras) naviculare by Cooper (1978); it was recombined as Calycoceras (Gentoniceras) boehmi by Kennedy and Gale (2015).
