Pseudocalycoceras harpax tulearensis was named by Collignon (1937) [Not Eucalycoceras harpax tulearensis of Thomel, 1972, non Collignon (p. 429, pl. 110, figs 1, 2; 1972, p. 89) = Thomelite sornayi (Gale et al. 2019 p. 257)].
It was recombined as Eucalycoceras harpax tulearensis by Gale et al. (2019); it was recombined as Eucalycoceras tulearensis by Wagner (2020).
