Taxonomy
Macoma snohomishensis was named by Weaver (1912). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cathcart Station (Blakeley Formation), Fiddler's Bluff, which is in a Chattian offshore sandstone in the Blakeley Formation of Washington.
