Taxonomy
Parvodus ominechonensis was named by Breeden et al. (2024). It is not extant. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is MMHF 3-00044, a tooth. Its type locality is Okubata, which is in a Carnian fluvial-lacustrine mudstone in the Momonoki Formation of Japan.
