Taxonomy
Magreanops renateae was named by Van Viersen and Vanherle (2018) [= v 2014 Phacopinae gen. et sp. indet.; Magrean & Taghon, p.
26, fig. 5.
e.p. 2015 Phacopinae indet.; van Viersen, p. 9 [Frasnian].]. Its type specimen is IRSNB a13216 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Loc120, southwestern outskirts of Hotton, which is in a Frasnian/Frasnian marginal marine shale in the Moulin Liénaux Formation of Belgium. It is the type species of Magreanops.
