Occitanella linguiformis
Taxonomy
Trimerocephaloides linguiformis was named by Feist et al. (2009) [Trimerocephaloides? linguiformis]. Its type specimen is WAM 07.281, a pygidium, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 01. Windy Knolls, Bugle Gap, 1 km south of Waggon Pass, which is in a Frasnian perireef or subreef limestone in the Virgin Hills Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Occitanella linguiformis by Feist and Klapper (2022).
