Roegl 1994 | Large, low trochospiral pseudo-planispiral test, with a somewhat depressed inner coil; 5 inflated chambers in the final whorl, increasing rapidly in size as added; altogether 11 chambers in two and half whorls. The chambers of the earlier whorls are small, arranged in a streptospiral coil. The last 4 chambers open into a very large, entirely open umbilicus. The aperture of the final chamber is high and open, interiomarginal, an asymmetrical equatorial arch, bordered with a thickened rim. Wall spinose, surface flat between the pores in the last two chambers, with interpore ridges in earlier ones |
