Taxonomy
Cuspidaria siliqua was named by Bittner (1895). It is not extant. Its type locality is St. Cassian (K.K. Geol Reichsanstalt coll), which is in a Julian carbonate limestone in the Cassian Formation of Italy.
It was recombined as Solenomorpha siliqua by Dominici and Danise (2024).
