Taxonomy
Cadoceras septentrionale was named by Frebold (1964). Its type specimen is GSC 17651, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 43619, Strand Fiord, Axel Heiberg Island, which is in a Callovian marine siliciclastic in the McConnell Island Formation of Canada.
