Insecutor angustidentes was named by Wunderlich (2023). Its type specimen is F3778/BB/CJW, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic amber (Wunderlich collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
