Eoactinotocarcinus tetracornis
Taxonomy
Periacanthus tetracornis was named by Ferratges et al. (2014). Its type specimen is MPZ2013/85, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Atiart, level 2, which is in a Ypresian marine siliciclastic in the Roda Formation of Spain. It is the type species of Eoactinotocarcinus.
It was recombined as Eoactinotocarcinus tetracornis by Ferratges (2024).
