Protolacerta patagonica
Taxonomy
Protolacerta patagonica was named by Casamiquela (1975). Its type specimen is CTES-PZ 1709, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Roca Blanca, which is in a Toarcian/Aalenian fluvial horizon in the Roca Blanca Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Protolacerta.
