Taxonomy
Rissoina subornata was named by Wade (1926). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dave Weeks place, Coon Creek, which is in a Campanian coastal sandstone in the Ripley Formation of Tennessee.
It was recombined as Anteglosia subornata by Sohl (1960).
