Turricula uvasana
Taxonomy
Surcula uvasana was named by Dickerson (1915). Its type specimen is UCMP 11057, a partial shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP loc. 458, Grapevine Creek, which is in a Bartonian marine sandstone/shale in the Tejon Formation of California.
It was recombined as Turricula uvasana by Clark (1938).
