Taxonomy
Olenellus terminatus was named by Palmer (1998). Its type specimen is DMNH 16085, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality ICS-1179, which is in a Lenian carbonate limestone in the Pioche Shale Formation of Nevada.
