| E. A. Serezhnikova and A. Y. Ivantsov 2007 | Small, sac-like organisms with monaxonic heteropolar symmetry of uncertainly large order (terminology after Beklemishev, 1964) attached at its base to the substrate. The skeleton appears to form a spicule net surrounded by narrow capsule lacking signs of perforation. The star-shaped irregular spicules are rather flexible, not rigid. The spicules occur in only one size order in the single specimen. |
