Ombergia mirabilis

Taxonomy
Ombergia mirabilis was named by Holmer et al. (2000) [= 1992 Acrotretoid A – Williams & Holmer, p. 659, pls. 1:5, 2:6. = 1999 Acrotretidae gen. et sp. indet. – Bassett, Popov & Holmer, fig. 9.4.]. Its type specimen is SGU Type 8508, a valve (ventral valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Borghamn core. 8.10-8.30 m, which is in an Arenig carbonate limestone in the Latorp Formation of Sweden. It is the type species of Ombergia.
