Taxonomy
Myliobatis bilobatus was named by Dartevelle and Casier (1943). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Landana Cliffs (layer 31), which is in a Lutetian open shallow subtidal packstone in the Landana Formation of Angola.
