Aifinautilus icanus

Taxonomy
Aifinautilus icanus was named by Korn and Hairapetian (2025). Its type specimen is MfN MB.C.32116, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Baghuk Mountain, Araxoceras beds float, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate lime mudstone in the Hambast Formation of Iran. It is the type species of Aifinautilus.
