Lanceoloolithus huangtangensis

Taxonomy
Lanceoloolithus huangtangensis was named by Fang et al. (2009). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is 08pm-41-2-1-b, an egg, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Xinlong-Huangtang section (bed 41), which is in a Campanian terrestrial sandstone/siltstone in the Zhutian Formation of China.
