Taxonomy
Ancientia pomerania was named by Schallreuter (1981). Its type specimen is GPIMH 2438 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Erratic boulder 12B9, which is in an Oandu carbonate limestone in the Macrourus Limestone Formation of Germany.
