Taxonomy
Dromicosuchus was named by Sues et al. (2003). It is not extant. Its type is Dromicosuchus grallator. It was considered monophyletic by Nesbitt (2011).
It was assigned to Sphenosuchidae by Sues et al. (2003); to Crocodilomorphi by Fiorelli and Calvo (2008), Nesbitt (2011); and to Crocodylomorpha by Irmis et al. (2013).
