Taxonomy
Unicardiopsidae was named by Vokes (1967) [m. kosnik taxon no: 5202]. Its type is Unicardiopsis.

It was considered an invalid subgroup of Tellinoidea by Bouchet et al. (2010).

It was assigned to Tellinacea by Vokes (1980); and to Tellinoidea by Nevesskaja (2009), Carter et al. (2011).
