Nannocetus eremus
Taxonomy
Nannocetus eremus was named by Kellogg (1929). Its type specimen is UCMP 26502, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Humphreys, which is in a Messinian basinal (siliceous) sandstone in the Towsley Formation of California.
