Hoploparia riddlensis
Taxonomy
Hoploparia riddlensis was named by Feldmann (1974). Its type specimen is USNM 22504, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic Locality 905, Cow Creek, which is in a Hauterivian submarine fan sandstone/siltstone in the Days Creek Formation of Oregon.
