A. Prieto-Marquez and G. C. Salinas 2010 | Hadrosaurid dinosaur that differs from all other members of the clade on the basis of the following autapomorphies and unique combination of appendicular characters: V-shaped nasofrontal suture where the anterior margin of each frontal forms a median triangular process that is laterally deep, anteriorly excavated, and has an anteriorly offset ventral margin. Pubis with a distal blade that differs from that of all other hadrosauroids (except that of species of Gryposaurus, Prosaurolophus, and probably Saurolophus) in having a subrect-angular lateral geometry with parallel dorsal and ventral margins; the prepubic process differs from that of species of Gryposaurus, Prosaurolophus, and Saurolophus in having a ventral margin that forms a wider arch, showing a more gentle ventral deflection distally. Ilium with the unique combination of the following four characters: dorsomedially twisted postacetabular process forming a ventromedially oriented brevis shelf-like surface; median longitudinal ridge on the dorsal surface of the postacetabular process; postacetabular process nearly as long as the iliac central plate and oriented posterodorsally; and asymmetrical and anteroposteriorly extensive supraacetabular process. | |
