Madtsoia madagascariensis
Taxonomy
Madtsoia madagascariensis was named by Hoffstetter (1961). Its type specimen is MNHN MAJ 5, a set of vertebrae (posterior trunk vertebra), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gite du Guide, north of Berivotra, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the Maevarano Formation of Madagascar.
