Gojirasaurus quayi
Taxonomy
Gojirasaurus quayi was named by Carpenter (1997). Its type specimen is UCM 47721, a set of postcrania, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCM Loc. 82021, Revuelto Creek Local Fauna, which is in a Norian terrestrial mudstone in the Bull Canyon Formation of New Mexico. It is the type species of Gojirasaurus.
