It was assigned to Titanosauridae by Tang et al. (2001); to Lithostrotia by Upchurch et al. (2004); to Saltasauridae by D'Emic (2012), Mannion et al. (2013), Poropat et al. (2016); to Titanosauria by Wilson and Upchurch (2009), Mannion and Calvo (2011), Averianov and Sues (2017); and to Somphospondyli by Wilson (2002), Mannion et al. (2019).
