Megaloolithus petralta
Taxonomy
Megaloolithus petralta was named by Vianey-Liaud et al. (1994). It is considered to be a form taxon. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Roquehautes-Grand Creux D (RHG-D), which is in a Maastrichtian floodplain claystone/claystone in the Argiles et Grès à Reptiles Formation of France.
