Calappilia chilensis
Taxonomy
Calappilia chilensis was named by Feldmann et al. (2005) [Mat-Pup locality]. It is not extant. Its type specimen is SGO.PI.6310. Its type locality is WP68 (MZ-PUP), between Matanzas and Pupuya, which is in a Miocene submarine fan sandstone/siltstone in the Navidad Formation of Chile.
