Camarasauromorpha was named by Salgado et al. (1997). It is not extant.

It was assigned to Neosauropoda by Salgado et al. (1997), Moser et al. (2006) and Taylor et al. (2011); and to Macronaria by Upchurch et al. (2004), de Almeida et al. (2004), Royo-Torres et al. (2006), Mocho et al. (2014) and Carballido et al. (2020).

Synonyms

Brachiosauria was named by Upchurch (1997). It is not extant.

It was synonymized subjectively with Camarasauromorpha by Moser et al. (2006).

L. Salgado et al. 1997	Opisthocoelous posterior trunk and sacral centra. Antero-dorsal edge of neural spine placed anteriorly with respect to anterior root of mid-caudal postzygapophysis. Open haemal canal in anterior caudals. Relatively long metacarpals. Dorsoventrally extended pubic articulation of ischium.
