Raphistoma (Eccyliopterus) abendanoni was named by Frech (1911). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Ecculiomphalus abendanoni by Yu (1993); it was recombined as Eccyliopterus abendanoni by Yabe and Hayasaka (1920), Wagner (2023).
