Eiselia (Eoeiselia) minutula was named by Frýda and Bandel (1997) [Eiselia (Eoeiselia) minutula Frýda & Bandel 1997]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pozáry near Prague, which is in a Pragian carbonate limestone in the Praha Formation of Czechia. It is the type species of Eoeiselia.
It was recombined as Eoeiselia minutula by Wagner (2023).
