Hippocardia herricki
Taxonomy
Hippocardia herricki was named by Hoare (1990) [= Conocardium ?sp. Herrick 1888a p. 97 pl. 7 f. 41a-c]. It is not extant. Its type locality is Brick plant shale pit on the west side of Wooster, which is in an Osagean carbonate limestone in the Cuyahoga Formation of Ohio.
