Boucotspira lamellosus

Taxonomy
Trochus lamellosus was named by Lindström (1884). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Samsugns C, in Othem, which is in a Sheinwoodian deep subtidal ramp limestone/marl in the Slite Beds Formation of Sweden.

It was recombined as Trochonema lamellosus by Ulrich and Scofield (1897); it was recombined as Streptotrochus lamellosus by Perner (1907); it was recombined as Boucotspira lamellosus by Wagner (1999), Wagner (2023).
