Taxonomy
Indotrigonodon ovatus was named by Jain and Sahni (1983). It is not extant. Its type specimen is ISI P 111. Its type locality is Pisdura Hill (sandstone), which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial claystone/sandstone in the Lameta Formation of India. It is the type species of Indotrigonodon.
